RICK COGBILL is a licensed automotive technician and former shop owner from Canada who has been writing his automotive humor column The Car Side for over 13 years. The column currently appears monthly in CANADIAN TECHNICIAN MAGAZINE, an automotive trade journal delivered to most shops and dealerships across Canada.

Beginning in February 2012, The Car Side can also be read in TIRE REVIEW, a major automotive trade journal for the US Tire Shop industry. This is Rick’s first foray into the US magazine print market, and he looks forward to connecting with American techs and shop owners all across that great land.

    Hi i am in grade 11 english and am reading this book for my silent reading book. we have to eamil the author and ask them questions so if you would be so kind as to reply that would be greatly appresiated. first of all i would like to saw the in you books chapter 9 the orchadrun is actully the blossom run and i have been going to it every year of my life ecept for 2. this year i evan plan to take my own 1967 plymouth valiant 4 door. i really enjoy reading your book and find it intersting that we may have even crossed paths. are allthe stroys in your book true? if they arnt how did you come up with them? also do you thinkor have that you will write another book ?
